Pamela + Paul

Trudder Lodge, Newcastle,

Co. Wicklow

We wanted a really relaxed, informal day for our wedding and when we came across Trudder Lodge we absolutely fell in love with it and knew it was exactly where we wanted to celebrate! The whole day was so much fun from leaving the church to the quartet’s rendition of ‘Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros’ (it gave us goosebumps) to our first dance under a big tree surrounded by all our family and friends and a load of sparklers!! We were so lucky with the day – the sun came out and everybody got to hang out on the lawn with a few drinks before we retreated to the marquee for a BBQ! We said all along that we wanted to feel like a big party and it really was.

Cliona + Conor

Barnabrow House, Cloyne, Midelton, Co. Cork

Our ceremony was incredibly special to us. We opted for a non-religious, non-legal ceremony on our day which was celebrated by our close friends (who were also groomsmen). We wrote the entire ceremony ourselves, and ensured that everything was very personal and special to us. We had Conor’s brother read an extract from Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series of novels, as this was something Conor and I had bonded over, and my sister read an extract from ‘When Harry met Sally’ which was the first film we saw together as a couple. As an avid Beatles fan I walked down the aisle to ‘Here comes the Sun’ and even now hearing the instrumental intro to the song fills me with butterflies.

Fallon and Byrne co.Dublin

city center

Myself and Brian wanted a really intimate relaxed feel to our wedding but still incorporating the buzz of the city,,, We had a spiritual ceremony which was really personal,,we then had our photos and video taken around the city which was something I was anxious about but ended up being an amazing part of the day seeing peoples reaction to us around the city was brilliant!!! We had our drinks reception in The Stags Head which was a great way of getting our guests to mingle, we then went back to Fallon and Byrne and had an fab meal and danced the night away,, a memory we can look back on time and time again thanks to Lukas.

Fiona + Chris

Ballintaggart House, Dingle

Myself and Chris met in Sydney when we were both travelling the world..in opposite directions! So after an amazing few months of getting to know each other we had to go our own ways… We wanted a really relaxed atmosphere for the wedding, so it was great to have it all in the same location, we had a lovely humanist ceremony in the house, and there is even a tiny little beach right across the road where the boys went swimming on the morning of the wedding, and we got our pics taken in the afternoon, what more could you ask for! We knew we would have a lot of people travelling for the wedding, and between the main house and some holiday homes next door, we could accomodate everyone, and we had the place to ourselves, so there was a great atmosphere all weekend, like one big party!

Grace + Chris

Leixlip Manor and Gardens, Kildare

Grace and Chris tied the knot at St Nicholas of Myra Church, Kinsealy, followed by a reception at Leixlip Manor. Their beautiful day of love
and celebrations had a vintage twist, with the addition of Grace’s fab, 1950′s style guna from Hayworth Vintage I always wanted a vintage wedding dress so the theme just fell in behind the dress. Found the dress after seeing an ad in the Sunday Times for the Vintage Fair in Dun Laoghaire. Mom found the dress in the Hayworth Vintage section, I tried it on in a cramped stairwell with my mom, chief bridesmaid and 6 or 7 other women furiously trying on a load of vintage clothes, I couldn’t get to see the mirror properly so went outside to see if there was any other mirrors and was promptly proposed to by a load of old men and cooed over by everyone so I pretty much had to get it!

Marie + Brendan

Clonabreany House, co.Meath

We are both originally from Galway and Sligo but choose a very special venue in Meath to host our wedding celebrations. Our ceremony was in Kilskyre Church which was within close proximity of the venue. The facade of the church is beautiful stonework set in the country side.  We knew it had to be something special to get our West of Ireland family and friends to travel to the East… We wanted something a little different , not just for us but our family and friends, a venue and a day to remember forever. If you could dream up a wedding venue, Clonabeaney has it all, beautiful country chic location, perfect backdrops for photos, with amazing team and very accessible for all guests.
Our day was just magical with every aspect going to plan, this would not be the case without our wonderful team, photographer, videographer, hair/makeup/florist and our wonderful friends and family. 16 months on we have the most wonderful memories and those are captured in our beautiful photographs and exceptional vintage chic wedding video. Lukas is one of a kind, a wonderful, talented and personable videographer, he was a wonderful addition on the day and the quality of video has let us relieve all those special moments from our magical day
